Warriors of the Way Mission
Empowering people to live purposeful lives using truth to illuminate the path upon which they walk; keeping their own health and wellbeing in mind so they can serve others with compassion, kindness, and righteousness.
Truth:
1. There is suffering and dissatisfaction in the world.
2. The cause for this suffering and dissatisfaction is the desire for life, people, and places to remain as our mind is used to them being; conversely the cause can also be that we wish for things to change to our liking. We wish for these things to stay permanently how ourselves desire them.
3. Dissatisfaction can end through recognition of the impermanence of all things.
4. The way to cease from this suffering and dissatisfaction is to have a right way of interacting with the world. Following the righteous way leads to less suffering for oneself and others.
The Warrior Journey Begins
The journey to ending suffering for oneself and others begins with conquering the ego. This is accomplished through having the the Right View, the Right Intention, the Right Speech / Listening, Right Living, Right Effort, the Right Concentration, and a Righteous Mind.
Ego
Our ego often leads us down selfish paths. Paths that do not love others as we love ourselves. Often we do not even love ourselves. We must recognize the unrighteousness of many of the ways we live in order to have a life free of suffering and dissatisfaction. Our personalities shed a light on the way we use our ego in relationships, our jobs, and our personal lives. They can be harnessed to bring compassion to the world and can also be used to cut the self and others down. Our personalities are truly double edged swords.
Double Edged Sword
When we are not attuned to the truth, or the universal reference frame* we use our personalities like a sword with two edges. This oftenest is seen in the following ways:
Impermanence
When we start to realize that our personality, our self, is not permanent but instead a series of moments we can start to unravel the need for permanence. The illusion of permanence leads to much dissatisfaction in the world. Easily forgetting that we all are born as babies, grow through childhood, and puberty, and then become adults who eventually dies is a common experience. Our ignorance of the changes between the person we are as a child and the person we are as an adult is to comfort oneself from the truth. That truth is that we are not permanent. We wish to be, but it is not so. We have a dynamic personality that shifts and changes sometimes like the wind. When we do not exercise it with righteousness in mind we hurt people and ourselves. Warriors of the Way's goal is to shed light on the personality traits of people and help them understand that they are viewing the universe through a lens set up to protect themselves, not to serve others or have compassion. Our goal is to strip away the dissatisfaction and suffering and lead people to have more happiness in life.

*Universal Reference Frame in physics states that all things are moving in relation to one anther and that between all these different views is a universal truth. In Relativity this truth is that space-time must dilate and contract in order for light to always travel at the same velocity regardless of the frame it is measured from.
